Nambo Robinson
Ronald "Nambo" Robinson (ca. 1950 - 25 January 2017) was a Jamaican reggae trombone player. For over forty years, Nambo Robinson’s burly frame cast an imposing presence on Jamaican recording studios. Even with the advent of the digital dancehall age he was still in demand as a trombonist. He started his career in the early 1970s with the influential Mystic Revelation of Rastafari. He went on to record and tour with Bob Marley, Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, The Taxi Gang, the 809 Band, Lloyd Parks and We The People Band, and The Wailers.
